课题名称 Unit 4 Where’s my backpack?   

单元教学分析:

   本单元是围绕“Things around the house”开展教学活动。在掌握表示物品的新音词的基础上,要求学生熟悉物品摆放位置的表达方式,能用“Where is /are…?”提问并用方位介词on,in,under,behind来回答,熟悉where引导的特殊疑问句和一般疑问句及其简略回答;继续学习名词的单复数形式,以及人称代词they和介词in,onunder的用法。学生已经学习并掌握了一些学习用品的名称,可以利用所学知识以旧带新来学习新单词。本单元将要学习的关于谈论物品的位置及询问所找物品的位置都属于日常生活中学生既熟悉又感兴趣的话题,学生可以在此过程中发挥自己的发散性思维,积极、主动地开口说英语。

目标:

学生能流利地谈论物品的所在位置,如Where is my backpack? It’s under the bed. Where are my books? They’re in the desk. I don’t know.

能询问所找物品的位置,并能用yes/no进行简略回答,如 Is the plant near the chair? Yes, it is. /No, it isn’t. Are my keys in the drawer? Yes, they are. No, they aren’t..

学习叙述物品的摆放位置,帮助学生养成干净整洁的好习惯。

课时划分:总4课时

第一课时:Section A 1&4

第二课时:Section A 2&3

第三课时:Section B 1&2

第四课时:Section B 3&Self check

目标: Vocabulary: alarm clock, video, CD, math book, computer game

Structure:  The book is on the table.

           The keys ar in the drawer.

 

重难点及突破方法:

谈论老师房间里的物品,熟悉新单词:math book, alarm clock ,CD, video tape,hat.然后围绕谈论Tommy’s room 展开活动。对该房间物品摆放进行描述,在此基础上完成2a2b的听力,从而降低了听力的难度。

教材处理:添加对两幅图片不同点的叙述,培养学生的语用能力。

教学思路:以谈论Tommy’s room展开活动,巩固了新单词和介词。在完成听力2a&2b后,要求学生重新摆放房间里的物品,口头表达。最后布置作业,写一篇关于Tommy房间物品摆放的短文。

Steps:

Step1  Warming up

1.Sing the song “where’s the ….?’

2. Revise the structures: Where’s the …?       Where are the ….?

It’s in/ on/under/the ….They’re on / in/ under ….

Step2  Presentation

1.Show the picture of my room, learn the new words: CDs, video tape, math book ,hat etc.

2.Match the words with the pictures.

Step3  Groupwork

Look at the two pictures. Find the differences.

Step4  Talk about Tommy’s room

1.Show the picture of Tommy’s room .Ask the students to remember the words.

2. Do listening exercises 2a&2b.

3.Groupwork. Ask the students to put the things in the right order. And say it .

Homework:

1.Write a short passage about Tommy’s room.

2.Discuss about what you need for the coming sports meeting. (We need …for…)

重难点及突破方法:

叙述我的麻烦,引出Asking for help 的主题。通过打电话求助或写便条的方式,让学生感悟在学中用英语, 在用中学英语。

教材处理:

增加打电话求助方式

教学思路:

my problem 引出求助的话题,学习打电话及写便条的求助方式。

Steps:

Step 1 Revision

Say and write some sentences about the picture.

Step2 Presentation

1.Making a telephone call to ask for help.

2.Read the note. Learn how to write a note.

Step3 Pairwork

Write a note to a friend asking for four things from your room. Say where they are.

Homework:

Draw a picture of your ideal room and write a short passage to describe it .
